"I would like to share my experience with buying a Triton Boat!  We have had a Grady White for 12 years and were very happy. Now after having 3 boys grow up learning on that boat ... it was time to upgrade. We were all set to start looking for another Grady until we saw the Triton. Buying our new boat was a total pleasure from start to finish! Dealing with The Chesapeake Boat Basin has always been painless! They were always there for us when we needed them to service our Grady White. It seemed only right to see what they had to offer.  There are so many pluses to the Triton that it made our decision easy! Why would we want to spend more money for a boat that only has a 5 year warranty on the hull, and Triton has a life time? Further more... there is NO wood in the construction of the Triton! "When I considered buying a Triton boat, there were a few locations I could have purchased the boat from.  I chose Chesapeake Boat Basin based upon my contact with Lisa & Clay at the Richmond Boat Show.  The sole reasoning I chose them was their honesty, their persistence, and their follow through.  They were in constant contact with me through the whole purchasing process taking care of all the small details.  I bought a Triton 351 CC from Chesapeake Boat Basin.  There are other more expensive center consoles out there but did not equal the quality and layout that the Triton has.  I have tested it to its capacity in the Gulf Stream through one of the worst inlets (Oregon Inlet, North Carolina) in some of the roughest water.  The Triton's Carolina Flair pushed through the waves with little resistance.  The layout of the boat is truly made for a real fisherman with its tackle station in the seat and not in the transom to get wet.  I have been truly satisfied with my purchase of the Triton and the continual outstanding service I receive from Chesapeake Boat Basin. "I had an extremely pleasant buying experience with Chesapeake Boat Basin.  All of the things you expect when buying an expensive recreational item were taken care of in a very timely and professional manner.  My boat was ready when promised, the engines were mounted perfectly and correctly propped, the boat was clean and when I flew down to check out the boat I was immediately taken for a test ride and shown all of the features of the boat.  All of my questions were answered without me feeling rushed.  A couple of other notables - I'm from out of state so Lisa and Clay met me half way when delivering my boat to me which was about a 5 hour ride for them.  They also arranged to pick up a custom trailer I ordered for my boat which also required that they send one of their men out of state to pick up the trailer.  The gauges weren't configured properly from the Triton factory so Clay repositioned the gauges so that  they were all in the proper place.  Most other dealers would just say something like "That's the way it's supposed to be" to avoid having to do the work but Clay took the time to correct them.  Very few dealers go this far to make their customers happy these days.  Very simply, I would absolutely buy another boat from Chesapeake Boat Basin."
